Suzano pulp price rises in North America, Europe and China

São Paulo Suzano Papel e Celulose has announced the increase in the price list of short fiber cellulose for the three markets: North America, Europe and China. The new values are worth from January 1, 2017.
In North America, the list price will be $860 per tonne. In Europe pass for $680/t and China for $570/t. "Suzano believes that the fundamentals of the market at the moment support that ad," said the company, in a statement.
For China, this is the second announced increase in the second half of 2016 by Suzano. On the 1st of October went on to be worth the price of $530/t, being adjusted to $550/t on December 1.
Fibria, Suzano''s competitor, also made two adjustments to the Chinese market, reaching US $550/t from the 1st of December 2016.
Also in early December, the company reported an increase to $680 per tonne in Europe and to $860 per tonne in the United States, valid from January 2017.
