Cassava, pineapple and cocoa are among the main productive chains in the region. "The cacauicultura is featured in the municipality. We have a factory ready. The expectation is that the production is a lot bigger and become a major producer of the fruit, "said the Mayor-elect.
According to him, one of the goals is to increase the number of workers in the productive units, which, organized into cooperatives adjusted can commercialize the production of the municipality not only internally, but also in Bethlehem. "We are 30 minutes from the capital and on the route to also Mosqueiro a great buyer''s market for our production," said Nilson Santos.
