Beer production Suffers 0.7% drop

Second newsletter released by the Brazilian Association of the industry of Beer (CervBrasil), the national production of beer fell to 0.7% in November compared to the previous month, adding 1.28 billion liters. The data are based on the information in the control System of production of beverages (Sicobe), the internal revenue service. In comparison to November 2015, the fall was 3.6%. The accumulated from January to November, there were 2% drop in production. Inflation accumulated high beer 5.3% by November, below the IPCA, which stood at 6%. The beer for consumption outside the home has accumulated 4.5% high in price for home consumption, there was high of 6.7% in the year.
