Mane, of France, will have second plant in Brazil

The French Mane, manufacturer of flavors and fragrances, intends to invest $ 55 million on construction of its second plant in Brazil-the first of 38 years, is in Jacarepaguá (RJ).
The company bought a few weeks ago a land in Jundiaí, in the State of São Paulo, after studying the project for two years, and intends to start the works in 2016, said Edson Cuts Ferrer, Director of the Mane in Brazil since April last year.

The 1.5 thousand square meters complex in the neighborhood of Lapa, in São Paulo, also houses the commercial areas of technology, development and creation of the company.
In Brazil, the Mane produces fragrances used by companies like Natura, O Boticário, Hypermarcas, L ' Oréal and L'occitane. The aromas are purchased by Nestlé, Lacta, Coca-Cola, BRF, Ambev and other consumer companies.
The Mane ended with 2014 revenues of € 769,9 million, up 6.4% on the year before. The aromas are 56% of the business, while the fragrances account for 38% and the ingredients for 6%.
