JBS says have completed acquisition of Moy Park

JBS, the world's largest meat producer, reported on Monday completed the acquisition of 100 percent participation that the Marfrig held at Moy Park, European unity of chicken and processed foods.
The operation was announced in June by approximately 1.5 billion reais.
According to JBS, the company obtained the necessary regulatory approvals, including from the European Commission, to complete the transaction without restrictions.

"We see potential in expanding our customer base in the European market, with an integrated production, with innovation and strong brands," said in a statement the global Chief Executive of JBS, Wesley Batista.
