Chocolate production Falls 6%

According to a survey conducted by the Brazilian Association of Chocolates, cocoa, peanuts, hard candies and derivatives (ABICAB), the first half of 2015 registered indentation of 6% in the production of chocolates in the country, lower performance index over the same period to 2014. By volume, were produced 231 million tons this year, against 245.8 million tons last year. Despite the negative result, the association informs that the first quarter of 2015 obtained a larger drop of almost 10%. Therefore, there was a retreat of the negative result, around 4%.
